Four teenagers, aged 19-22, have been arrested by the Niger State Police Command in Minna for allegedly killing a photographer, Zaccheaus Salawudeen, 33, during a robbery in February this year.

The suspects – Mustapha Ibrahim, 19, Shamson Rabiu, 21, Bashar Aliyu, 20, and Abdullahi Umar, 19 – confessed to the crime, stating that they attacked Salawudeen’s residence after hearing he had received a large sum of money.

According to Superintendent of Police Wasiu Abiodun, the suspects robbed Salawudeen of ₦95,000 but felt disappointed, believing he lied about the amount. One of the gang members, Danladi, currently at large, allegedly stabbed Salawudeen in the stomach.
