THE Kaduna State Police Command has announced the arrest of 523 suspects in connection with various criminal activities. According to Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Abdullahi, the suspects were arrested for offenses including kidnapping, cattle rustling, phone snatching, car theft, and rape.
“We have prioritized proactive policing, community engagement, and collaboration with other security agencies to ensure the safety and security of all residents of Kaduna State,” Commissioner Abdullahi said.
The Command also reported the recovery of several items, including five AK47 rifles, two pistols, one submachine gun, 283 rustled cows and 20 sheep, and 105 rounds of live ammunition.
Notable successes include the rescue of 102 kidnap victims and the arrest of several suspected kidnappers and cattle rustlers.

The Commissioner of Police attributed the successes to the dedication and professionalism of the Command’s officers and men. “I wish to express my gratitude to the officers, men, and members of the public who continue to provide critical information leading to the successes we celebrate today,” he said.
Commissioner Abdullahi assured the public that the Command will continue to work tirelessly to maintain law and order across the state. “We will continue to strengthen community policing and remain resolute in the fight against all forms of criminality,” he said.
