THE Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, has donated 1,000 motorcycles to the Kano State Police Command to boost their operational efficiency and response readiness. This donation comes barely a week after Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf distributed 78 vehicles to the police in the state.
While presenting the motorcycles to the Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Garba, Senator Jibrin warned criminals in Kano State that there would be no hiding place for them, as the police have been equipped to flush out bad elements. He urged criminals to repent from their nefarious activities or face the consequences.
The Deputy Senate President emphasized that the business of security is a collective responsibility, calling on all and sundry to support the security agencies. He praised CP Garba for maintaining peace and improving security in Kano State since his assignment.
