ABUJA: Federal Capital Territory FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday explained his decision to embark on constant inspection of all ongoing projects in the territory, saying he won’t rely on stories from subordinates or the contractors.
Wike who had earlier inspected the Dutse Alhaji-Ushafa road in Bwari Area Council, disclosed this after inspecting the Kwaita and Yangoji-Sukuku roads.
“I am sure it is good that all of us are touring and seeing what is on ground, and not being told stories. I am sure you can see farms, expanse of lands for farming. If government can capitalize on this, we won’t be talking about food security. So I am quite impressed, very much impressed”, he stated.
