The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, on Saturday visited Mera village under Augie local government area of Kebbi state to console the people of the town who lost at least 15 persons following latest attack on the village by new terrorist group lakurawa.
Speaking to journalists at Mera town, the Minister said that Nigeria will not be intimidated by the attack because the country is close to winning the war against any form of banditry ” we are saddened despite efforts of our gallant troops such bastard incident occurred saying sometimes even with best defence this things can happen, we symphatise with the people of Kebbi state particularly the people of Mera town over the unfortunate incident that claimed 15 lives”.

Bagudu, while announcing a thirty million naira donation to the victims families, said that Tinubu government will in no distant time wipe out banditry as it seeks to widen her scope of investments across the globe, will therefore not give in for the new terror group as the federal government is battle ready to crush them.
