A devastating road accident in Kaduna State has claimed the lives of over 35 Muslims on their way to celebrate Maulud in Samunaka.

The tragic incident occurred when a J5 bus conveying the victims collided head-on with an articulated vehicle near Samunaka in Lere Local Government Area.

According to Malam Abdullahi, one of the organizers of the Maulud celebration, the accident has disrupted their plans and left many in shock. “We had about 70 people, including women and children, in the bus. I did the head count, and it was a sad development,” he said.
