    BREAKING: Fire erupts at Lagos airport’s old terminal

    A fire has broken out at the old terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Nigeria, which is currently undergoing reconstruction by the Federal Government. Thankfully, no lives have been lost, according to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

    Eyewitnesses say people nearby rushed to safety as the fire broke out, while firefighters and emergency responders were quickly activated to contain the situation. FAAN confirmed this in a statement, saying their team is working hard to put out the flames.

    The cause of the fire is still unknown, and authorities are yet to assess the extent of the damage.
