InA show of strength and determination, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has officially launched a massive mobilization drive to secure President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The party’s 14-Federal Constituency tour, kicked off at Oba Adeyemi Stadium, Oyo town, brought together top party leaders, elders, and grassroots organizers from across the state.
Senator Teslim Folarin, Oyo State Ambassador for Renewed Hope, emphasized the need for party unity, saying, “Unity before ambition. Every leader with 2027 aspirations has put them aside. Our mission is clear: to consolidate our structures, energise our supporters, and deliver a landslide mandate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Folarin recalled that President Tinubu secured 449,884 votes in Oyo State in the 2023 presidential election, one of the strongest margins nationwide, and announced that the APC is targeting a minimum 35% increase in votes in 2027. “Oyo State will play a defining role in the 2027 election, and we are fully prepared to ensure that our people speak with one voice,” he declared.
Dr. Florence Ajimobi, former First Lady of Oyo State, praised the initiative, saying, “This is a unifying platform that reflects the discipline, strength, and renewed commitment of the Oyo APC. No more war within the party; let’s work together for victory.”
Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, urged members to prioritize loyalty to the party’s national leadership, stressing that President Tinubu’s reforms require strong backing from key states like Oyo.
The APC’s 14-Federal Constituency tour aims to rebuild trust, strengthen party structures, and broaden support across all 33 local government areas. As Senator Folarin put it, “We are engaging directly with communities, mobilising voters at the grassroots, and ensuring that our message of progress, unity, and continuity reaches every elector.”
With unity and determination, the APC in Oyo State is set to deliver a record-breaking mandate for President Tinubu in 2027.
