The Champions Faith Assembly has concluded its annual convention with a call for Nigerians to embrace a “Kingdom Mentality” that unites faith, nurtures communities, and promotes national development.

Speaking at the closing session, Senior Pastor of the church, Apostle Godspower Udjor, explained that the theme “Kingdom Mentality” emphasized the oneness of the body of Christ and the need to reflect Christian values in society.

“When you are a Christian, you are not just a child of God in your denomination. The entirety of the body of Christ is one. Kingdom Mentality means honoring Jesus and allowing His values to shape our communities,” Apostle Udjor said.

He stressed that a true kingdom mindset could transform society.

“If we are able to colonize our environment with godly values, we will have better communities, less crime, and more focused citizens,” he added.

    Beyond Convention Initiative

To sustain the spiritual and social impact of the gathering, Apostle Udjor revealed that the church has launched a program tagged “Beyond Convention”.

According to him, the initiative will continue humanitarian outreach, including food and clothing distribution, skills support, and welfare assistance beyond the convention period.

“It doesn’t have to be a convention before people eat or get clothed. Beyond Convention is our way of sustaining both the people and the temple,” he explained.

    Church’s Role in Nation Building

Addressing Nigeria’s economic challenges, the cleric said the church must go beyond preaching to meet the physical and social needs of people.

“We have set up businesses, given scholarships, secured jobs for the unemployed, and even helped people out of prison. Our impact has reached not only Christians but also Muslims, widows, and military families. We believe this is what true ministry represents,” Apostle Udjor noted.

    Message to Nigerians and Government

On Nigeria’s future, Apostle Udjor urged citizens not to lose hope.

“Don’t give up on Nigeria. Don’t talk down on Nigeria. Regardless of our ethnic, religious, or political differences, we are Nigerians first. There is hope for this nation,” he declared.

To government leaders, he offered words of encouragement and caution.

“We know you may not have met things the way you expected, but be faithful with what you have. Don’t write your name badly in the hearts of Nigerians. Leave a legacy that will make Nigerians bless and pray for you, even after your tenure,” he said.

The convention, which drew a large turnout of worshippers, featured teachings, testimonies, and humanitarian projects aimed at uplifting the community.
