Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has affirmed that President Bola Tinubu’s immeasurable concerns for women in the country would earn him their support in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking while receiving the Publisher/ General Editor of the Asiwaju Trumpet Magazine and Convener of Blow Asiwaju – Trumpet The Second Term, BLAST, Hon. Abdul-Hameed Oladipupo Alli, aka Mr. Nigeria, at the ministry’s headquarters in Abuja, she promised that her ministry would continue to support any social development programme and partner with non-governmental organisations, NGOs with missions that align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present administration.
She said that Nigerian women would gladly mobilise themselves to join BLAST in casting their votes to return the President for a second term in appreciation of his gestures in promoting gender equality and social development so far within his two years in office.

Earlier in his remark, the Convener of BLAST and Publisher/General Editor of Asiwaju Trumpet Magazine, Hon. Abdul-Hameed Oladipupo Alli, said that the visit was part of activities to commemorate two years anniversary of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu, and sought the support of the minister and other well meaning Nigerians including government institutions through subscription and showcasing their achievements to the world through the publication as well as the proposed Asiwaju Trumpet online radio and television stations.
Alli, who is also the Publisher of Kwara People magazine, assured the minister that he would use his experience as a former chairman of Ilorin West Local Government in Kwara State which makes him a certified grassroots politician to continue partnering the ministry in promoting the achievements of this administration as well as in fighting all form of child abuse, including child identification fraud and parental alienation among divorced or separated parents.
These, he noted, “have been the bane of the society despite the existence of the Violence Against Person’s Prohibition, VAPP, Act, which has been domesticated in virtually all states of the federation.”
The occasion was used to carry out an investiture on the Honourable Minister as an Ambassador/Matron of BLAST as well as confer her with the prestigious Doyen Of The Down Trodden Award respectively.
Alli, however, informed about a 14-day affirmation activities declared by the organisation to commemorate this year’s Democracy Day, which falls on June 12.
“The 14-day event shall commence on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 and be rounded up on June 25, 2025 respectively with the formal launching of the Asiwaju Trumpet magazine which will be dedicated to mark the 63rd birthday anniversary of Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, respectively,” he disclosed.
