Kwara State has just received a significant boost in its transportation system, courtesy of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGI).
The state governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has taken delivery of 20 gas-powered buses and 20 tricycles, which will be used to support the public transport system at a discounted cost to the people.
This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to cushion the effects of fuel subsidy removal on the populace. The governor expressed his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leadership of the PCNGI, and his team for their progress in this regard.
The gas-powered buses and tricycles will not only provide affordable transportation but also promote a cleaner environment.
